Art Deco Natural Ruby and Diamond Negligee Pendant
Art Deco negligee pendant, which type of jewellery became highly popular from early 1900s. That particular one has been made in Austria, Vienna, around 1920. It is a necklace with 2 parallel links which hang at 2 different lengths. At the end of each of drop that hang assymetrically there is an old european cut diamond (in nice target style setting) accented with 2 square cut natural rubies and small round diamonds. Base part is oval-shaped and set with another 2 diamonds + 3 rubies. All gems settings finished with millegrain accents. The look of this pendant is decidedly feminine and elegant at the same time. Charming as no other, a piece for a lifetime.
