Early XXc Diamond and Ruby Halo Ring
A wonderful 14k gold ring that was made in the early 1900s. It is exemplary style for that period, when it was about showing brilliance above all.
Rich red ruby halo surrounds the minimum 0.60 point oval old cushion cut diamond bright bullseye at the centre. The outer frame presents 12 round, old european cut diamonds, weighting ca 1.00 total carats, 4 of which are strong accents on intercardinal points. Millegrain detail adds a lot of visual interest and a heightens sense of style to the crown. Wonderful openwork gallery enhances the impression on the back of the ring.
It would make an amazing engagement ring. It is comfortable and easy to wear.
