Edwardian 2.87 Sapphire & 0.95 Diamond Bangle
An cushion cut sapphire surrounded by a halo of swiss cut diamonds is the centrepiece of this late Victorian / early Edwardian era bangle bracelet. Handmade in Vienna, Austro-Hungary (hallmarked 1872-1922). The Sapphire weighs 2.87 carat and is a well saturated wonderful deep blue. The bracelet is delicately set in 14 carat yellow gold with the centre halo flanked to its east and west by a single row of swiss cut diamonds. All diamonds, which dazzle with their colour, estimated H/I and clarity Si, have a combined weight of 0.95 carat and are all hand cut, swiss cut diamonds. It closes with a hinge and hidden push clasp with a safety chain.
