An exceptional example of late Victorian craftsmanship, this classic five-stone half-hoop ring features a graduating row of naturally vivid, antique-cut diamonds totaling 2.78 carats.

What makes this piece truly remarkable is its captivating mix of historic faceting styles: a central Old Mine cut flanked by early Peruzzi and Mazarin cuts. Each stone reflects light with the soft, soulful flicker unique to hand-cut diamonds of the era.

Crafted circa 1900, the ring showcases the period-typical technique of setting diamonds in silver-topped collets (silver .800) to accentuate their brilliance, seamlessly paired with a warm 14kt yellow gold band. The open-back settings allow maximum light to flood through the stones, highlighting their character and subtle color range (H–K, SI2–P2). Detailed shoulders and a carved gallery lend a timeless architecture to the hand.
